In loving memory of David: It’s many years since David went To work down at the port He saw a drawing office Ad A post in which he sought He started work soon afterwards And then, lo and behold Young Yvonne came to finance and The tale was to unfold While David made a lot of friends Including the sex fair ‘Twas Yvonne that soon caught his eye And they became a pair A so began a lifetime love Not many can compare Completed by a family With love for all to share His work then took him far and wide Across the globe to roam But he was always happiest When back to hearth and home Two very special friends of mine Right from the very start Always there, through thick and thin A friendship from the heart And so I count myself well blessed Will wonders never cease Much loved, much missed, still in our hearts Now sleeping and at peace By Pat x
